I Heart Macro May 29, 2011

It's Sunday and time for "I Heart Macro" slash "I Heart Close Ups: Up Close Photography for Macro Makers and the Camerologically Challenged". Join Lori Plyler of Studio Waterstone and blog your up close/macro picture of the week.

This week I'm sharing beady goodness!

Our local bead shop is having a wonderful sale this weekend and these are some of the beads that I picked up.  There were too many beautiful beads to choose from, but I managed to stay just under my set budget.

The top picture is a gorgeous carved wood bead, then an ammonite (with beautiful red flashing), and the last shot is a mixture of Porcelain Jasper and  some lovely green and caramel colored beads (the name of which I forgot to write down. I hate when I do that!).

Check out all of the wonderful macro/up close shots posted at Lori's website. Join in the fun and add your picture of the week!

  1. Love your beady goodies you shared! You are much better then mom and I when we go bead shopping, we say we are only going to buy a certain bead (like Jasper) and the next thing we know we bought out the store :)
