AJE Earring Challenge Reveal Weeks 37/52 & 38/52

Art Jewelry Elements
 Good morning!
It's time for the Art Jewelry Elements Earring Challenge reveal, thrown together style!

I'm not happy with them, but I managed to throw together two pairs of earrings today and take pictures (also not happy with), just in time for the reveal.  Sorry to whine, but my day job is kicking my butt with overtime right now.

AJE Earring Challenge Wk 37/52 – For this pair of earrings, I used a lovely pair of shiny, red lampwork beads made by pinocean (Mika Collins), suspended from 20 gauge, dark annealed, steel wire teardrops.

AJE Earring Challenge Wk 38/52 – For this pair of earrings, I made my own art bead/components using Vintaj brass blanks that I embossed with my Vintaj Sizzix BIGkick Machine. These are hanging from Vintaj brass chain with wire wrapped Swarovski crystal butterfly beads dangling at the end of the chain.

AJE Earring Challenge Reveal Weeks 35/52 & 36/52

Good morning!  It's time for the Art Jewelry Elements Earring Challenge reveal!

I have really enjoyed participating in this challenge!  Besides the fun of being challenged to create a new pair of earrings each week (which shouldn't be that difficult, but sometimes it is), I have seen so many wonderful earring designs posted by other participants and I have discovered people who make lovely and inspiring components that can be used to make earrings!

AJE Earring Challenge Wk 35/52 – For this pair of earrings, I used a lovely pair of green, etched lampwork beads made by pinocean (Mika Collins). These are suspended from hammered Vintaj brass buttons with purple waxed linen. The buttons have more purple waxed linen strung through the holes and are suspended from handmade ear wires with Vintaj brass chain.

AJE Earring Challenge Wk 36/52 – For this pair of earrings, I used a beautiful pair of Kristi Bowman's square, copper Ammonite earring charms. These are wire wrapped with jasper rondelles, pink sari ribbon, bone rondelles, ceramic disks and purple czech glass beads.

AJE Earring Challenge Reveal Weeks 33/52 & 34/52

Art Jewelry Elements

It is time once again for the Art Jewelry Elements Earring Challenge reveal!

I'm very late due to issues with my computer and then with Pinterest.  I got so discouraged and almost gave up, but finally was able to post my pictures to my Pinterest board.  The AJE board had already been set up for the next reveal, so I wasn't able to post my pictures there.  I really, really need to stop waiting until the weekend of the reveal to post my pictures.

AJE Earring Challenge Wk 33/52 – Made with a beautiful pair of Kristi Bowman's handmade, polymer clay Watercolor Fabric Square Pillows (I love these beads!). These are wire wrapped with various colored crystal beads and suspended from handmade ear wires.

AJE Earring Challenge Wk 34/52 – I hammered a pair of Vintaj brass rectangle blanks and added verdigris and moss patinas. These dangle from wire wrapped blue-green glass rondelle beads and handmade ear wires.
