Art Bead Scene March Challenge Blog Tour

The inspiration for this months challenge is Nave Nave Moe (Sacred Spring, Sweet Dreams) by Paul Gaugin 1894.

Below is a picture of my entry piece to the March ART BEAD SCENE monthly challenge.  I created the pendant by attaching a lovely Gaea ceramic focal to the center of a brass filigree and then added some beautiful etched lampwork beads made by pinocean.  The necklace includes two more Gaea beads and additional pinocean lampwork beads dangling from Vintaj brass chain.
Here is a close up of the pendant.

Please visit the Art Bead Scene Blog for the Art Bead Scene March Challenge Blog Tour and check out all of the wonderful pieces submitted for this months challenge.

Have a wonderful day!

Beautiful Piece from an Etsy Favorite

Check out this beautiful necklace made by the talented jewelry artist, Sandi Carrico!
The pendant has a gorgeous cabochon of bronzed Mojave turquoise, in a setting of copper and sterling silver. I just love copper and silver together and the color of that stone is awesome!  To see more of Sandi's wonderful jewelry designs, please visit her etsy shop and her blog.

March Art Bead Scene

This is a picture of my entry piece to the March ART BEAD SCENE monthly challenge.  I created the pendant by attaching a lovely Gaea ceramic focal to the center of a brass filigree and then added some beautiful etched lampwork beads made by pinocean.  The necklace includes two more Gaea beads and additional pinocean lampwork beads dangling from Vintaj brass chain.

The inspiration for this months challenge is Nave Nave Moe (Sacred Spring, Sweet Dreams) by Paul Gaugin 1894.  I love the range of colors in this painting and the feelings it invoked in me.  It was very easy for me to be inspired to create my necklace.

Here is a close up of the pendant.
