La Gargouille
Gargoyles are said to scare off and protect from any evil or harmful spirits.
This little gargoyle watches over our garden.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
All that texture is very inspiring! The only gargoyles we have is a set of bookends that make me laugh every time I look at them!
ReplyDeletegargoyles are so fascinating to look at...nice shots ;o)

ReplyDeleteGreat shot and I think i will have to buy a gargoyle for our restaurant! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the textures of the shots! Mom has a gargoyle in her garden and I am still looking for mine to guard the house.
ReplyDeleteGargoyles are awesome! We have a few in our garden, but unfortunately they have not kept the skunks at bay.
ReplyDeleteOh *LOVE* so much fun too look at these are lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, The Gargoyle almost has a horse look to it. Its s sweeter gargoyle, not as scary as some I have seen. I would love to walk through your garden!
ReplyDeleteI think of gargoyles as being European, but I even saw gargoyles in China last year. Cool shots.
ReplyDeleteI like gargoyles, they make interesting photo subjects. Yours are really textural and well done.
ReplyDeleteI love the framing on your 'horse-like' gargoyle. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteInteresting choice...and wonderful texture.I remember years ago I saw gargoyles on the roof of a church in Paris...scary as! Yours looks almost like a pet in comparison!
ReplyDeleteHope your Mum is on the improve, Kym.

Beautiful pics, Kym!
ReplyDeleteOh! I love gargoyles! I have one in my craft room. This one is beautiful. If I even have a garden, I might just have to find one as impressive as yours!
ReplyDeleteGargoyles are a must in the garden! I love yours to pieces! (you can meet ours in another garden post :))
ReplyDeleteLovely statue....the textures are wonderful. I need to find more stuff for my garden!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos, I didn't know gargoyles were supposed to scare off evil spirits!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! The textures are beautiful! ~Val
ReplyDeleteYour gargoyle is sooo beautiful!! I used to live in Scotland with my British husband. I always wanted to go down to England and see a few of the churches with the gargoyles, but sadly his car had problems and then the petrol was so outrageous in price we could not. In the US one dosent really have to worry about long trips like in the UK. I heard the other day that petrol in the UK was now up to US conversion of abouts 10 a gallon! Thats worse than when we were there. Anyway I love your dragon!
