The weeks are just flying by and it's already time for the 16th reveal of the Art Jewelry Elements Earring Challenge!
My earrings for week 31/52 are made
with a pair of Ellen Dooley's beautiful blue halo discs, sterling
silver beads, topaz colored Lucite teardrop, red waxed linen
cording, silver plated jumprings and handmade silver filled earwires.
My earrings for week 32/52 are made
with a pair of bronze horse beads by Star Spirit Studio, suspended
from purple waxed linen cording, braided with seedbeads, handmade
brass jumprings and earwires.
Visit the Art Jewelry Elements blog to see all of the Earring Challenge participants designs.
Enjoy your week!
Ooh... I especially like that first pair. I haven't been brave enough to do much with waxed linen or other textiles. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with!
ReplyDeleteBoth pairs are beautiful! I love the second pair with the waxes linen and seed beads.
ReplyDeleteWow, your designs are ALWAYS a treat and so inventive, Kym (and you know I LOVE lots of fiber!)
ReplyDeleteI have some waxed linen but have virtually never used it. I sure love the way it looks though, great designs as always Kym!
