I Heart Macro 02/03/2012

My husband and I recently took a trip to South Texas to visit our daughter and her boyfriend.  On the second day of our visit, they took us to a state park that is close to their home.  The trees were all bare and there were no winter flowers, so there wasn't that much to choose from for up close photos.  I can't wait to go back in the spring and see the park leafed out and in bloom.

I did get an close up shot of a sign that was at the beginning of the trail that we walked that day.

From which I extracted this word

Despite the bareness, I found some evidence of life

Snagged an up close shot of a rock wall, for my love of texture

And something for Valentine's Day

    1. I liked it because of the heart shape. My granddaughter saw the picture and thought it was a pig nose:-)

    1. Me too! My husband actually pointed it out when I was editing in Picnik, but I thought it was cool
