I created the following necklace using a lovely porcelain pendant made by Nancy E. Schindler, of Round Rabbit Extra.
I used several different colors of hand dyed silk yarn fibers that I left untidy, because it reminded me of the girls hair in the picture. Some of the silk ribbons are strung with pearls and Montana Swarovski crystals. On the pendant I added a dangle made of fossil coral and a Montana Swaroski crystal. The necklace is finished with brass colored wire, jump rings and clasp. The teardrop shaped fossil coral bead is really pretty and it complements the pendant very well. I tried to capture this in the photo's, but I couldn't get a clean shot. C'est la vie

Wow, you captured the spirit of the picture perfectly with your necklace, it's gorgeous! I thought this month's picture was really difficult but your necklace is fabulous! Awesome!

Both the poster and your necklace evoke the rich colors and glow of early fall. Love that fossil coral.
