A New Year with Morning Devotionals

Many years ago, my dear, sweet mother-in-law (God rest her beautiful soul) gave me a copy of Max Lucado's Grace For The Moment.  I don't think I read it all the way through until the second year that I had it, but I found that I loved the book and have read it over for several years.  So many mornings the page I was reading was very relevant to how I was feeling, or what was going on in my life.

While Christmas shopping I discovered that there is a Volume II and decided to buy it for myself.  It is so amazing, but these past three mornings, each page read has been right on mark with what I have been feeling and the worries I have been having for my family.  Yesterday I was feeling kind of lost and worrying about several things at once.  I sat down, opened my book and the reading was "The Lord is With Me" and referenced Psalm 23:4 You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.   Then on the radio they played David Crowder Band's How He Loves Us and I was so over whelmed that I had to find the video to share with everyone (please check out the video link on my 1/02/10 post).

Since this blog was started to post about my jewelry, I'm hoping to have some pictures posted later today.  I just have to wait for my darling daughter to wake up and help me with the camera, as I haven't quit mastered the new (for me) digital age.  I've made several pieces lately that I'm pretty happy with and would like to share them.

By the way, my daughter is an amazing photographer and you should check out her blog http://fragilephoto.blogspot.com/ and Flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/fragile_photo/

Have a blessed day!
